Pauline Youngblood-Soli founded Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics in 1996. Before launching
the company, Pauline was a licensed medical aesthetician that worked alongside renowned
plastic surgeons and dermatologists in Beverly Hills, California. There, she came in
contact with people with severely traumatized skin as a result of laser treatments,
acne, rosacea, and cosmetic surgeries. These patients were searching for natural-looking
makeup that would help conceal and soothe post-operative bruising and irritation;
however, none existed at the time.
Pauline began working with chemists to develop makeup that would cover raw, inflamed,
and discoloured skin, as well as allow skin to breathe and heal. That’s when she
discovered the beauty of pure minerals and natural pigments without parabens and
petroleum dyes.
Initial work led to the development of Youngblood's first Loose Mineral Foundation – a breakthrough
product that gave women, even those with sensitive skin, the natural, flawless look
they had been searching for. We use top-grade minerals that are finely milled to
create that soft, luxurious feel when applied.
Today, Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics has grown to offer premium makeup for face,
eyes, and lips in the most natural-looking shades. The company has more than doubled
its size and has expanded its domestic and international distribution.
